Bram has more than 15 years of experience in banking, capital markets, management consulting and consumer tech both in conventional and Islamic finance space.
Particularly in Islamic finance space, he experienced in originating and executing Sukuk or Islamic bonds transaction, helping corporates and sovereign in achieving their objectives while complying with Sharia principles. He also used to be part of senior coverage banker working for global bank handling Non-Bank Financial Institution segment, which includes insurance companies.
Prior to cofounding Berkah, He built a new venture for one of biggest unicorns in Southeast Asia, in which he ideated, setup, launched and eventually connected into the ecosystem as a "ecosystem stickiness play" before finally raising the independent series A for the venture. Prior to that, he worked as a management consulting at the Boston Consulting Group focusing on financial institution and social impact projects in Southeast Asia.
He holds Islamic Finance master-equivalent degree from International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance Kuala Lumpur (scholarship) and Master of Business Administration majoring in Finance & Strategy with Certificate in Health Sector Management from Duke University the Fuqua School of Business USA (full scholarship from Government of Indonesia). He obtained his Bachelor of Economics majoring in Accounting from University of Indonesia. He is also a Financial Risk Manager ("FRM") holder from Global Association of Risk Professionals, USA, a CFA level 3 candidate and a holder of OJK licenses: Fund Manager, Broker Dealer and Underwriter.
